I Love Food.

My name is Annie and I love food. I love the way my hands reek of freshly clipped herbs [parsley, sage, rosemary & thyme, sorry couldn’t resist] from my garden of course, washed and then dropped onto my bamboo cutting board, chopped so that the aroma fills the room. I love being right in the middle of my own personal chaos of pots boiling, hand blender churning, timer buzzing and finally the oven door swinging open wide… usually with my foot. Get the picture, feel my passion?

My roots are grounded in New England, Go Red Soxs! I did lots of restaurant work and catering in the Northern parts, near the banks of Lake Winnipesaukee and the foot hills of the White Mountains. I moved South in the early 90s to get my Food Science degree at North Carolina State University in Raleigh, North Carolina. Home of the best barbecue ever; Its wicked good. My degree and I then moved just a little north of the Mason Dixon line in Pennsylvania where for the last ten years I have been working for a food company in Research and Development.

My goal is to share all I’ve learned about cooking and presenting beautiful and tasty foods. I hope you enjoy looking around.
