I know I am late to the party but my avocado toast is delicious and fills you up.
1 mini baguette
small amount of olive oil (1 TBS)
2 ripe avocados -soft to touch
Dried red peppers – to you liking
Lemon juice – small amount
Cut your avocado in half with a knife. scoop out the large seed and then scrape soft avocado from its skin into a bowl. Mash it up leaving it chunky, sprinkle with lemon juice to keep its green color.
Cut your baguette horizontally in half. In your toaster oven or large size oven, place bottom side of the baguette on a clean sheet pan. And toast lightly. Using a oven mitt pull sheet pan out, turn over your baguettes and place back in the over for 3 minutes. Pull out again and drizzly with olive oil and back to oven for 5 or so more minutes or golden brown.
Remove you baguette to dish. Add your mashed avocado to your toasted halfed baguette, sprinkle with hot peppers.
Note: Gram Masala is a wonderful spice that goes great with avocado. ( Homemade- equal parts of cinnamon, Cumin, Cardamon, cloves and coriander, then add 1/2 tsp nutmeg and 1/2 pepper)
