Preheat oven to 425
Pat dry turkey and sprinkle with sea salt and pepper.
Fold turkey wings under legs so to not burn,
The drum sticks could be tied together or tucked under bird.
For my favorite basting blend I use virgin oil olive, unsalted creamy butter [4 TBSP each]
and Herbs de Provence [Southern France.]
I like to stuff my turkey with quartered onions, oranges and thyme.
And the Cook the stuffing in the oven in my le crosuet casserole dish.
Baste the turkey before it enters the oven… continuing as needed
Add you turkey to the 450F oven for 20 minute. Turn your oven down to 350F and cook for 15 minutes for every pound. Cover the top [breast] with foil or paper bag To limit burning. Remove from oven when Turkey reaches 170F in the deepest section of the bird.
Let the bird sit for 25 minutes. Just long enough to cook the gravy.
Serve with all your favorite side dishes.
